Well this blog seems to be attracting a bit of interest. Started as a bit of an experiment to learn more about blogger and blogging. It seems to have worked. So there's plenty more to come and many more "we were there" camping and travel destinations. 2008 seems to be a year for getting out and about.
Having ended the 2007 season with a wet, wild and excellent camp at Swanage, we started the new season at Sherwood Forest. With a wet, windy and totally chilled (in many senses of the word) weekend.

First, however, a birthday provided an excuse for a week in Spain. Not at a usual tourist trap, but leaving the tent behind and staying with friends in a place called Gaucin in Andalusia.

May's double long weekends were not to be ignored, so early May saw the Hairy1 and wife exploring that very interesting place called Bath. Having a Bath you might say.

The end of May saw the whole family partying in Nutbourne, close the West Wittering beaches.
Work, of course, had to intrude, so now we have a break 'til August, when it's off to Cornwall. You never know - an odd weekend may find time for a camp!
Watch this space for more, and for all the details of the last few trips.
